Here It Is - Our Annual L.A.Holiday Concert Gala!

Dear Dreamster Fans,

Mark it on your calendars!

The fun-filled annual Shushybye holiday extravaganza is coming to town Saturday December 4, 2010 for two wondrous concert performances (11am and 12:30PM) at the Odyssey Theatre in West Los Angeles (2055 So. Sepulveda).

Of course, the incredible Michael North (backed by all-new Dreamster back-up harmony singers) will be on hand, along with everyone's favorite Shushies SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ...Plus, our audiences will be the very first to meet PJ THE DJ, STARBRIGHT and SNORE!!

Once the Shushies get a bit older and decide they want to make dream-making their livlihood they become Dreamsters and make dreams at THE DREAMERY, which is very much like a movie studio (only its located high above the clouds in Nap Valley, Shushybye).

Michael, the Shushies and the Dreamsters will be performing your favorite Shushybye hits - plus all-new songs from THE DREAMERY.

But wait - there's more! Santa has officially placed both our concerts on his very tight calendar - so he'll be making a special dancing and singing appearance along with the Shushies and Dreamsters!

The Odyssey Theatre itself is intimate, giving children a chance to get up close with SNOOZLES, DOZIE, ZEEZ, PJ, STARBRIGHT and SNORE - but it does mean that seating is limited...So get your family's tickets right away!

Tickets are $15 dollars per person and available from Shushybye headquarters - we invite you to call toll-free 1-866-shushybye (1-866-748-7492) Monday-Friday 9-5 west coast time for your tickets. (Visa and Mastercard accepted).

We are all excited to see our wondrous fans for what is certain to be a memorable music and joy-filled holiday event for all.

Shushybye & Goodnight!

Welcome to THE DREAMERY!

Dear DREAMSTER Fans!!
Welcome to the wondrous world of THE DREAMERY! Located high in the clouds, it is here at the Dreamery where Dreamsters make dreams for preschoolers everywhere! The Dreamery resembles a movie studio with lots of soundstages and departments for Dream-Designing, Props, Wardrobe and Hair & Make Up. My own personal favorite is (of course) the Music Department, where songs are written and recorded as the soundtrack for children's dreams. Many of the songs are performed by Michael North and The Dreamsters Band, while others are recorded by such popular Dreamery artists as Doo-Wop group The Sleeptones, big band jazz singer and dancer Fred Asleep and blues artist Bay B. King.
We're excited to share that many of the celebrated recording artists also perform Dreamery songs - such as awesome rock 'n roller Brian Setzer who delivers rousing lead vocals on The Dreamery Theme Song (and lays down some of the most incredible rhythm and lead guitar you've ever heard!!). Co-written by Dreamery creator Steve Syatt and Brian Setzer, The Dreamery Theme Song will make its debut very shortly on the Shushybye Facebook Page (we invite you to check the page out!).
Three of The Dreamery's star dream-making Dreamsters are PJ THE DJ, STARBRIGHT and SNORE (pictured above). When the Dreamsters are done producing their dreams (based on Dream Wishes from children), the Dream Reels are loaded up onto the mighty Dream Ship commanded by Captain John Yawn. A large Dreamster with a flowing red beard, Captain Yawn loves to sing his very own theme song as he travels the stars to bring dreams to sleeping children. (We'll be debuting the theme song on our Shushybye Facebook page soon!).
Before he begins his dream-making shift at The Dreamery, PJ THE DJ is morning on-air personality for radio station MOON-FM (which is the Dreamsters' favorite radio station). PJ spins all the top hits, and even has in-studio celebrity guests, such as Captain John Yawn and Wendy Winks who, along with her large family (the 40 Winks) run the Dreamery Library. Then there's STARBRIGHT, a sweet and caring Dreamster who enjoys handing out flowers to everyone she meets. She also says 'groovy' alot. We're also pleased to introduce you to SNORE, the deeply intellectual, hip bongo-playing Dreamster who always speaks in beat poetry, accentuates his comments with taps on his ever-present bongos - and calls everyone "Daddy-O."
The Dreamsters will be starring in an all-new globally-televised TV show that will be having sneak previews later this year on Comcast Video On Demand, as well as lots of exclusive bring -'em-home DVD's - from live concerts featuring Michael North and The Dreamsters Band to a collection of educational DVD releases entitled 'Dreamery School.' There will even be Dreamster fitness DVD's for preschoolers featuring America's Personal Trainer, the one and only Tony Little!!
Music plays a huge role in The Dreamery - and we're especially excited to be touring Michael North and the Dreamster Band throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
So, as all the Dreamsters say at The Dreamery...DREAM ON!

Summer Dreamin' To Winter Dreamin'

Dear Shushy Fans,

Michael, the band, the Shushies and I have had such an awesome time performing our Shushybye Dream Band concerts in Washington DC, Philadelphia, NYC, Chicago and Albany as part of our Summer Dreamin Tour that I can hardly find the words to express our joy!

Now, we set our sights on the holiday season!

Our live tour manager John Waldman of Great Knight Productions (http://www.greatknightproductions.com/) is busy with final preparations - and we look forward to announcing Winter Dreamin' 2010 in just a matter of a few weeks.

A few thanks are in order...

Kenny Curtis, morning personality on SIRIUS/XM Radio's KIDS PLACE LIVE (pictured above with yours truly) did a wondrous job serving as emcee for our concerts in Washington DC at Jammin' Java and Chicago at A Taste of Chicago - and we look forward to coralling him for our holiday concerts, if we can. Then there are the many fine folks from each of the venues and events that made our time in each city a most memorable one (and helped to make each performance flawless and fun - even my rhythm guitar playing sounded pretty good!).

I also want to extend my thanks to our amazing musicians (keyboardist Michiko, electric bassist Pee Wee, lead guitarist Steve and master of the drums Glenn), our talented Shushy dancers and, of course, the best singer in children's music, Michael North.

But most of all, our thanks goes to the many Shushy families that came out to join us. It was especially fun meeting with fans that have been corresponding with us through the months.

In other Shushy music news, a major globally-renowned rock star has just finished recording the theme song to our all-new half-hour series, which we are excited to formally announce shortly. I had the great pleasure of co-writing the song with this extraordinary artist - and we'll be sharing all the specifics with our Shushy fans very soon. Several major rock stars will be joining Michael to perform our new Shushy songs for the show!

In September, three new Shushies will be making their debut on our website - PJ the DJ (the morning personality on Shushybye's #1 radio station, MOON-FM); Starbright (a highly creative dream-maker who also volunteers her time at the Shushybye Hospital as a candystriper) and Snore (a bongo-playing poet).

They all look forward to meeting you.

Finally, Shushybye will be celebrating Christmas in August as we give away 50 copies of our holiday storybook/audio CD "Shushybye: Where Is Christmas" to our Shushy fans - details coming up at the start of the month.

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Memorable Concerts Wondrous fans!

Dear Shushy Fans,

I wanted to take this moment to express our heartiest appreciation to the many families that joined with us for the opening concerts of the Shushybye Dream Band's Summer Dreanin' 2010 Tour in Washington DC and the Bronx Zoo.

Michael, the band, the Shushies and I had a memorable time with all of the awesome families that came out for our concerts at Jammin' Java in Washington DC and at the Bronx Zoo (where one gracious family drove all the way from Boston and another from Connecticut!).

Jammin' Java is such a perfect venue for all ages, and the staff is ultra kind - it's no wonder why this landmark music destination keeps garnering rave reviews and awards for excellence each year. The full Shushybye band was on hand for the concert, along with KIDS PLACE LIVE morning personality Kenny Curtis who emcee'd the show (and brought along his wicked brand of humor). For the first time in concert, magnificent Michael North started what is sure to be a concert trend: At the close of The Shushybye Theme Song, Michael had all us musicians stop playing - and had the audience singing the "Oh My My Shushybye" chorus acapella...then he brought back the band to play along while the audience sand for a rousing close. As the songwriter (and the band's rhythm guitar player), it was amazing for me to watch as this all unfolded - I wish I had the words!

At the Bronx Zoo, it was Michael, the Shushies, lead guitarist extraordinaire Steve Gregory and me (on rhythm guitar) performing two shows. But the stars really were the audience members - children and adults alike! Both performances brought Shushy fans of all ages, with many of the little ones bringing along their Shushybye dolls. As in Washington DC, many of the audience members sang along with Michael and the music moved virtually all of the children to get up and boogie. By the way, if you've never been to the Bronx Zoo, may I recommend this is something you have to do - it is mindbogglingly beautiful. To play at this very special venue is something we will always remember. Finally, our heartfelt thanks also goes to the Zoo's terrific staff whose work ensured smooth productions every step of the way.

Now its on to Philadelphia for the World Cafe on Saturday June 19 (make sure you grab advance tickets!) then to Chicago for A Taste of Chicago on June 25 and 26 (one show each day).

I'm pleased to share that our awe-inspiring tour manager John Waldman of Great Knight Productions (www.greatknightproductions.com) added our newest concert event for the Summer Dreamin' Tour - the very cool GE Kids Day in Albany taking place on Sunday July 18 (The Shushybye Dream Band will be the featured children's act!).

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Summer Dreamin' 2010 Launches!

Dear Shushy Fans,

In just a few days, The Shushybyes (aka The Shushybye Dream Band) Summer Dreamin' 2010 tour debuts in Washington DC at Jammin' Java on Saturday June 12. The live concert at Jammin' Java features Shushybye singer Michael North, Shushies SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ and the full live band. Tickets are available directly from the Jammin' Java box office.

On the day before, the incredible Michael North makes a guest appearance on Friday June 11 on the Kenny Curtis Morning Zoo show on KIDS PLACE LIVE (Sirius/XM Radio). Michael and Kenny will be talking about the latest goings-on in the world of Shushybye, the first multi-city tour of the Shushybye Dream Band, and Kenny will offer up some of the band's most popular songs. Michael will also be interviewed by radio stations serving the Washington DC communities.

Then it's on to the Big Apple on June Sunday 13 , when Michael, Shushies SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ, The Shushybye's lead guitarist Steve Gregory and I (playing rhythm guitar) perform two concerts at the famed Bronx Zoo. General admission to the zoo is all that's required for the Shushybye concert.

We all head back home to Los Angeles following our concerts at the Bronx Zoo - but then fly back east to perform in Philadelphia on Saturday June 19 at World Cafe. Our Phillie fans will also have the chance to catch the entire band - Michael, everyone's favorite Shushies and the full Shushybye Dream Band will be on stage at this prestigious venue. Michael has been invited by WCAU-TV to guest on this great television station's morning show on Friday morning June 18 - so if you reside in Philadelphia , we hope you tune in to watch Michael (he'll be performing "Shushybye Blues" live on the air!). Tickets for The Shushybye's at World Cafe can be purchased from the venue's box office.

The June leg of the Shushybyes Summer Dreamin' Tour wraps up in Chicago on June 25 and 26, when the band perform as the featured children's act at the renowned Taste of Chicago. Once again, the full band will be on hand for this exciting event. Our two concerts (one each on Friday and Saturday) are all part of the "Taste" festival - so we hope our Chi-Town fans will come out in force.

Speaking of fans, we're proud to welcome to the wondrous world of Shushybye one of our newest honorary Shushies who graces the top of this page (along with her newest Shushy friends).

The Shushybyes Summer Dreamin' Tour will continue with concerts in July and August - stand by for details!!

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Steve

And Now The News!

Dear Shushy Fans,

There are lots of exciting developments here in the Land of Shushybye and I look forward to sharing them all with you. We’ve set a date of Friday May 7 to unveil the latest Shushy happenings on the Shushybye Facebook page.

While I am going to do my very best keeping everything secret until May 7 (and I can assure you, that’s not easy for me to do!) what I would like to share for now is this one Very Important Fact:

All of the great things happening with Shushybye are a direct result from your support and encouragement. You probably hear lots of entertainment companies say ‘we have the greatest fans.’ Well, in our case – we really do! The emails and calls that come into our office are incredibly kind and thoughtful and our daily correspondence with Shushy moms, dads, grandparents and, of course, children makes us feel like we’re one big Shushy family.

So, although I’ll be keeping mum on the news until May 7 (or will at least try my best), please take note that the real story behind the news – is you.

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Mommy Blogger The Halton Mom

Dear Shushy Fans,

Meet one of Shushybye’s most treasured friends. Hallie is the wondrous daughter of Liz, famed blogger of The Halton Mom. Liz recently reviewed the second Shushybye storybook/audio CD SHUSHYBYE: CLOSE YOUR EYES along with our second music CD release THE SHUSHYBYE DREAM BAND: CLOSE YOUR EYES (The link to Liz’s review is below).

As we got to correspond with one another I learned that Hallie is quite the young heroine as she tackles Leukemia (Hallie recently completed her treatments and is in remission).

We know our great Shushy fans here in the US and all over the world will join with us in sending out our prayers for Hallie's clean bill of health.

We at Shushybye are proud of our friendship with Mom Liz and Daughter Hallie and feel privileged to introduce all of our fans to this awesome mother-daughter team.

Here's the link to Liz’s blog and her (very positive!) Shushybye review:

Toddler Josh and Big Brother Eric

Michael North with Josh and Eric - and a family-made Shushy cloud guitar

Dear Shushy Fans,

Yesterday, Shushybye welcomed some very special guests to our offices here in L.A. Please allow me to begin by sharing excerpts of an email sent by Jill, proud mother of toddler Josh and big brother Eric:

My son Joshua is disabled due to a severe brain bleed which resulted in hydrocephalus and the loss of the majority of the left side of his brain. he has a shunt implanted in his head and runs the length of his body to his abdomen... He doesnt watch tv like all my other kids did except when Shushybye comes on. As soon as he hears the theme music he comes a running!!!! When I watch him dancing and clapping to the music I forget about all of the obstacles he must deal with every single day, the Shushies make him just like any other kid... so his dreamwish would be to see them live in concert!!! Thank you so very much!!!!

Jill

Yesterday afternoon (Wednesday, March 10), Jill, her wonderful husband Thomas and sons Joshua and Eric visited us here at our Shushybye offices. Michael North was here as Michael and I performed Shushybye music for Joshua who danced along to each song. In addition to observing the joy that was in Josh's face, I couldn't help but be impressed as well by his older brother Eric who watched over him with total protectiveness and love. Mom and Dad are going to have blessing after blessing watching as these boys grow up, with the knowledge that young Eric will always and forever be there for his baby brother.

Below is the email I received from Jill following our afternoon together:

Dear Steve,

Just had to send you a message to say how wonderful today was!! You and Michael are most generous and kind. Watching Michael hold Josh while he prayed almost brought me to tears...It doesn't seem like saying "thank you" really expresses what my heart wants to say to you and Michael for making my sons future alot brighter...I truly believe that the characters, music as well as Michael's beautiful voice are directly responsible for giving him as normal a childhood as he could have. To see him using his hand and dancing to the Shushybye music fills my soul with such happiness , mere words are not enough to express it!! So I will close for now by saying that from the bottom of my heart you and Michael are a part of our family now...You are absolutely making a difference in one child's life. God bless all at Shushybye and Thank you for everything.

Joshua and family.

Shushybye and Goodnight,

Steve

Wondrous Shushy Fans In the the UK

Dear Shushy Fans,

Just a short (but very meaningful) blog today...

The link below will take you to a song written by a most wondrous and loving granddad by the name of David (his lovely wife Jean sits beside him and their precious grandchild baby Jessica). The proud parents of Jessica are Alison (David and Jean's daughter) and son-in-law Neal (a terrific couple). The family drove from their home in Bradford Yorkshire to a concert with The Shushybyes held in London last summer (a better than two hour drive!) that was presented by our friends at Sky-TV.

David was so kind to actually compose an original song for Jessica that is also a tribute to the Shushies. I am deeply proud and honored (or, as David and Jean would spell it - honoured!) to bring to you David's composition below.

Enjoy! (And once again, thank you so much David).

The magnificent Michael North will be backed by the full Shushybyes band - Steve Gregory, lead guitarist extraordinaire; Pee Wee Hill, electric bass maestro; Michiko Hill, Queen of the keyboards, Glenn Ochenkoski, the drum god and yours truly on rhythm guitar (hey… I wrote these songs – I get to be in the band!). Of course, SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ will be on stage doing their thing (specifically, dancing and making lots of dreams).

A quick word about Michael North. We happen to think Michael is the best singer in all children’s music. Plus, he’s lots of fun to watch live on stage. So, bring the whole family to a musical event you’ll always remember – The Shushybyes!

Meet PJ, STARDUST and SNORE!

Dear Shushy Fans,

Meet PJ, STARDUST and SNORE, three dream-making Shushies who are also very best friends. I am excited to share that you and your families will soon be seeing them in all-new Shushybye TV shows, DVD’s, live appearances (and even a feature motion picture!).

PJ is very cool. In the mornings he’s the radio personality on MOON-FM (the rock station in Shushybye) where he’s known as ‘PJ THE DJ.’ After his morning drive shift, PJ heads over to The Dreamery (the huge Nap Valley-based factory where dreams are made) to join his dream team Stardust and Snore.

For those of you who grew up in the 1960’s, you might just recognize Stardust...A hippie girl Shushy who wears paisley shirts and bellbottoms, Stardust likes to hand out flowers to everyone. She is sweet and caring - and makes the most creative dreams imaginable.

Then there’s Snore. We at Shushybye have a strong suspicion that preschoolers and early grade children will like Snore a lot. He’s kind of like our family’s golden retriever Oscar – everyone Snore meets is instantly his best friend, and he’s ready to have fun anytime, anywhere and for any reason. He also makes a ‘snore’ sound every time he speaks. It’s kind of endearing.

PJ, Stardust and Snore also enjoy Shushybye School, along with their classmates WEARY, DROWSY and BUSHED; CHIPPER and CRANKY; and MOONBEAM, NIGHTLIGHT and BIG MATTRESS (I’ll fill you in on these Shushies later). Oh, and I also don’t want to forget to mention MISS EVE and PRINCIPAL NIGHT who run Shushybye School and CAPTAIN JOHN YAWN who captains the mighty Shushybye Dream Ship (I recently completed writing a theme song for Captain Yawn I can hardly wait for you to hear).

Lots of cool things going on in Shushybye – stay tuned!

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Philly On Our Mind!

Dear Shushy Fans,

Joltin' John Waldman (head of Great Knight Productions, the music tour management company for The Shushybyes) has finalized Philadelphia for The Shushybyes Summer Dreamin' 2010 concert tour...and not just any venue in the great city of brotherly love -- but the one and only World Cafe! The date is Saturday June 19. We've got lots of wondrous fans in Philly, and Michael, Snoozles, Dozie, Zeez and I are anxious to meet many of you at this wondrous music performance landmark.

With more on the way, The Shushybyes featuring Michael North are set to perform in four great cities: The Summer Dreamin' tour launches in Washington DC on June 12 at Jammin' Java...then moves to NYC Sunday June 13 at the Bronx Zoo...and heads to Philadelphia Saturday June 19 at the World Cafe. Our fourth city? Why, Los Angeles, our home base of course! The Shushybyes will be making the band's triumphant return to the majestic Geffen Theater to cap off the tour.

We'll soon be announcing additional cities and venues - is your city among them? email us at info@shushybye.com and we'll let you know!!

We're Headin To...The Bronx Zoo!!

Dear Shushy Fans,

The Shushybyes Summer Dreamin’ 2010 Tour Rolls On…

From the concert tour’s kick-off performance at the awesome JAMMIN’ JAVA in Washington DC on Saturday June 12, our esteemed singer Michael North and equally esteemed Shushies SNOOZLES, DOZIE and ZEEZ travel northbound to NYC to take over the Main Stage at the spectacular BRONX ZOO for two concerts on Sunday June 13.

JAMMIN’ JAVA has just rolled up their online box office window as tickets are now available by clicking on http://jamminjava.com/home/kids-events/the-shushybyes. Tickets are only 8 dollars per person (1-year-old and above).

We’ve already been hearing from Shushy fans throughout the DC region – and look forward to meeting you all at JAMMIN' JAVA...We are also excited to announce the second leg of our SHUSHYBYES Summer Dreamin 2010 Tour at the famed Bronx Zoo.

One of the newest Shushybye songs which we’ll soon be introducing on all-new episodes of our TV show (soon to go into production) is entitled “Welcome to The Shushybye Zoo.” In honor of the Bronx Zoo, we’ll be changing the lyrics to “Welcome to The Bronx Zoo” when we perform it live!

Bronx Zoo officials tell us the Zoo attracts over 800,000 visitors from April through June – and a whopping 250,000 total weekend guests...I hope your family will be among this prestigious audience when The Shushybyes perform.

More venues are on the way - and I look forward to sharing them with you as soon as possible.

Shushybye and Goodnight!

Jammin Java - Here We Come!

Dear Shushy Fans,

I am excited to share that THE SHUSHYBYES SUMMER DREAMIN’ 2010 CONCERT TOUR will launch on Saturday June 12 at the fabulous JAMMIN’ JAVA in Washington DC. JAMMIN’ JAVA is one of the most prestigious venues for top children’s music entertainment – and we could not be more proud to kick-off our multi-city concert tour at this wondrous performance destination.

We’ll soon be unveiling more cities and venues which will host our SUMMER DREAMIN’ Tour – and invite you to email us at info@shushybye.com for any questions you may have (we will try to give you the concert location nearest to your home).

Joining us to present this year’s THE SHUSHYBYES SUMMER DREAMIN’ TOUR is Sirius/XM Kids CHILDREN’S PLACE LIVE, which is the broadcast home of the Official Shushybye Storyteller, none other than Kenny Curtis. We at Shushybye love Kenny – not only because he is a great and caring person, but because his humor is awesome (no matter what your age is). You’ve heard of the successful radio format called ‘The Morning Zoo?’ Well Kenny’s show is actually – a zoo. He’s got an in-studio line-up of animals as guests and the interaction is always hysterically funny. If you’re driving while listening to Kenny you may want to pay extra attention to the road – I almost hit the car in front of me due to tearing up from laughter over Kenny’s antics. Kenny is simply the funniest morning personality in radio – and we are thrilled to have this great comedic talent as Shushybye's Official Storyteller.

Thanks also goes to our cool tour manager Rockin' John Waldman at Great Knight Productions - he's the man behind the curtain helping to make all the magic happen.

Shushybye & Goodnight!

SHUSHYBYE SUMMER DREAMIN' 2010 TOUR

Dear Shushy Fans,

The Shushybyes Summer Dreamin’ 2010 is underway! Working together with our awesome music management company Great Knight Productions, the itinerary for the multi-city tour will be completed soon. In fact, many of our Shushy fans are responsible for the selected cities, as their calls and emails asking about when Michael and the Shushies will be visiting their cities are regarded very seriously (so please keep your emails coming if you’d like The Shushybyes to visit your city – info@shushybye.com)!

But even more than your city…how would you like a live Shushybye concert featuring The Shushybyes right in your very own home? We’ll soon be unveiling a sweepstakes we’re conducting with a major national children’s media outlet where a live in-home Shushybye concert is the grand prize. Stand by for more regarding this exciting sweepstakes event! (Imagine the party you could have!!).

I have received lots of emails about a couple of recent Twitter postings of mine (http://twitter.com/Shushybyeguy) unveiling all-new Shushybye characters I’ve ‘dreamt up’ for a Shushybye movie. Working together with Phoenix Pictures - one of the most honored and respected film companies in Hollywood headed up by legendary movie producer Mike Medavoy – "Shushybye: My Newest Best Friend" is well into the scripting stage. The first (I believe) movie musical for preschoolers, it’s about a Shushy boy named P-LOW and a little girl named FRANNIE who discover the meaning of true friendship.

I would like you to meet some of the stars: P-LOW (His real name is PILLOW but he got the nickname from the famed Shushybye Doo-Wop group THE SLEEPTONES after hearing him sing), along with CHIPPER and CRANKY, WEARY, DROWSY and BUSHED, SNORE, NIGHTLIGHT and NAPPER are some of students in SHUSHYBYE SCHOOL (the teacher is MISS EVE). Then there's MOONBEAM, STARDUST and BIG MATTRESS, three of the top Dream Designers at the DREAMERY (the huge factory where Shushies make children’s dreams). MOONBEAM wears a mohawk hair-do, STARDUST is kind of a hippie who loves to hand out flowers to everyone and BIG MATTRESS is king size, but nice. Two of my favorites are PJ THE DJ who spins the Bedboard 100 hits on MOON-FM (he also emcees the nightly Pillow Park dances) and SKY BLUE, the radio station’s traffic reporter who calls the action on the busy Starways (often recommending that Shushy drivers take surface clouds to get to their destinations). I also particularly like WENDY WINKS, the head librarian of the Shushybye Central Library. Helping her run the library is her rather large family (there are 40 WINKS in all). I’ve written 20 songs for the movie, and one of my favorites is “Welcome Aboard My Dream Ship” sung by CAPTAIN JOHN YAWN as he pilots the mighty Shushybye ship with his able crew across the skies.

I look forward to keeping you updated!

SHUSHYBYE & GOODNIGHT!

It's A Shushy Year!

Dear Shushy Fans,

We began 2010 with an exciting association that will help to launch The Shushybyes live concert in cities across the U.S. and Canada. If you are familiar with such incredible children’s musical artists as the Laurie Berkner Band and Milkshake, then you know the wonderful work of the live touring and music management company that officially represents The Shushybyes – Great Knight Productions (http://www.greatknightproductions.com/). Under the guidance of company principal John Waldman, Great Knight (interesting company name for a Shushybye partner!) does a great job on behalf of their roster of outstanding children’s music artists – and we’re proud to be a part of their family.

We are also getting ready to produce new episodes of Shushybye Baby for BabyFirstTV as well as launch into a wide array of other projects (including a Shushybye movie musical – more on that later…).

And speaking of BabyFirstTV, the channel song ‘My Child, Me and BabyFirstTV’ that I wrote, Michael North sings and our band performs has reached over 370,000 hits on YouTube! I invite you to check it out (You Tube, type in 'Shushybye' in the search box).

A quick acknowledgement to the many Shushy fans from the U.S. Mexico, UK, France, Portugal, Spain among other countries (wondrous viewers of BabyFirstTV!) for being a part of our holiday season with your emails, calls and letters. It is very comforting to know that the Shushies (Snoozles, Dozie and Zeez) have found awesome homes with families throughout the world.

New shows…lots of new projects…and a concert tour – 2010 is shaping up to be a Shushy year!

A happy, healthy and successful 2010 to you and yours.

Shushybye & Goodnight!

Steve
